In a candid video, Kimani shared that currently, he is currently homeless and in dire need of a place to stay as he strives to get his life back on track.

According to the talented journalist, he was diagnosed with Bipolar a few years ago and his life fell apart.

“Niko kwa shida and I need your help, juu kama ningekua nimekufa, watu wangesema ooh Kimani alikuwa hivi na vile. But I’m not going to suffer in silence.

…I fell ill in 2020 and I was diagnosed with Bipolar disorder and since then my life has fallen apart. I have lost so many things I have lost, so many friends on the journey. People got tired of me and I’m in a position where most people are not willing to help coz they said they are tired,” Kimani Mbugua said in part.

“I got out of hospital last week and I feel my mind has come back to normal and I don’t want to go back to the place where I used to be, so I’m homeless. I have my bag and I’m out. The people I was living with said that they could not help me any longer and told me to look for an alternative and I came to look for somebody else who could help me but I didn’t find them. I just need your help,”.

Kimani went on to reveal that he is also looking for a business partner who can help him execute a business proposal he has in hand.

“I have a business plan here that I put together in the last one week when I was out of hospital and I have my first proposal for a client. All I need is a business partner to go back to the place I used to be,” Kimani explained.

The former Citizen TV presenter stated that he opted to open up and ask for help so that he could avoid going back to where he was.

“I realized I could suffer in silence and not speak out and go back to drugs. I don’t want to go back to drugs. I’m two months clean, I haven’t used any weed or cigarette because that I was using,”

He added that at the moment is homeless and broke, but glad that his mind is at a point where he wants to rebuild everything from scratch.

“If you want to help me my email is [email protected] . I’m in so much debt, like Sh1.7 million debt because someone close to me sold my car and I was unable to pay that loan because I did not have a job”,

Kimani admitted that he is in too much debt after his car was sold by someone close to him and he was unable to service his loan.

“I haven’t had a job for close to 2 years now and I was just being hosted by different people and of course they get tired and that is allowed. I’m in a position where I’m healing every day as it comes.

“I’m in too much debt and that's why I decided that let me just go and open my own company and do what I love.

“Just a laptop, and WIFI and money for doing calls, so if you can do that please help me,” Kimani said.
