Former Citizen TV political journalist Chemutai Goin has recently gone viral after Mugirango South MP Silvanus Osoro shared a video hanging outside parliament with Chemutai and his colleague, MP Gideon Kimayo.

Chemutai was dressed in a long black dress and high heels of the same colour as she enjoyed a chat with the two gentlemen.

Fans of the former senior political reporter noted that she looked gorgeous, admitting they missed her on TV.

 

"We miss Chemutai goin," a fan commented.

"Chemutai looking gorgeous in that black dress," another fan said.

The former Citizen TV journalist has always been recognized as one of the best political and current affairs journalist in Kenya up to the time she left the station.

Chemutai left a very a great legacy in the industry inspiring a lot of journalists to follow her path.

Career

Chemutai started her career as an intern at KTN. During her internship, she advanced and equipped herself with the necessary skills which helped shape her career.

She took political reporting as her niche. After completing the internship, she was hired by Capital FM as a reporter.

Later on, she landed a job at Media Max as a political and current affairs reporter on K24 TV. In 2018, she was hired by Citizen TV to cover political events and parliament reports.

As a reporter for Citizen TV, she reported on the different events that occurred in different counties during the 2017 general election.

Since Kenya recorded its first coronavirus case, Chemutai also did stories on COVID-19.

On 1st June 2020, Chemutai was awarded the Uzalendo award after receiving a state recommendation for her efforts in creating awareness regarding the coronavirus disease.

She is also skilled in live reporting, writing and production of feature stories, editing, public speaking and so much more.

Earlier this year Chemutai quit her job at Citizen TV to join Speaker Wetangula's Office as the principal media relations officer.
