Reactions to Kenyan lady claiming to be Cardi B's lookalike

A Kenyan lady has the whole country in stitches after she posted a video claiming that she resembles American award-winning rapper, Cardi B.

The lady in a video is seen imitating Cardi's high-pitched Hispanic accent as she talks.

" So you wanna know something... you wanna know something, a lot of people are like you think you can talk like Cardi B? And I'm like I think I can nothing, nothing... this is my nothing.... so I know I may not be the real Cardi B or whatever but just let you all know.... (blabbering) But I am gangster..." the unidentified lady is heard saying.

Kenyans being Kenyans flocked online to share their two cents on the whole video as netizen sleuths worked tirelessly to try and not only find the identity of the lady but locate her as well.

Last year, the American rapper shared her love for Kenyans gushing over a Nairobi matatu that was covered with graffiti of her face. 

The rapper was tagged in a post by the handle, Celebs love Cardi in which the page had posted three pictures of different matatus with images of the Grammy-winning rapper.

Cardi responded to the post tweeting, "Wow, I love ya soooo much. America is boring, they need buses like this." 

Kenyan fans flocked to the tweet urging her to visit the country and experience the rich culture and get to view more matwanas on her own.

It is not the first time the rapper has shown love to Kenya, last year she posted a video of the late president Mwai Kibaki addressing a press briefing confirming that he had only one wife.

However, even after all the internet love Cardi has not made any plans whatsoever of visiting the country.

Mind you, the last time she announced an African tour, Kenya was left out of her list, maybe just maybe we'll have better luck now that we have "her lookalike."
