Nigerian singer and songwriter Tems has earned three nominations in this year’s BET hip hop Awards.

The songstress appears on the list of nominees courtesy of her contribution to Future’s ‘Wait For You'.

In the Awards, rapper Drake leads with 14 nominations followed closely by Kanye West who has 10, Kendrick Lamar has 9, and Future has 8 nominations.

Award-winning female rapper Cardi B, Baby Keem, and J. Cole are tied at 6 nominations.

The 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards will be held on October 4 and will be hosted by legendary American rapper Fat Joe.
