President Museveni's son Muhoozi Kainerugaba has inspired a Kakamega-based musician to release a song urging him to run.

The song dropped online on Tuesday night and has generated buzz.

The musician named Okoth Vicky tells General Muhoozi '

"Don't run Muhoozi ni mchokozi wacha tu tumwimbie mzito . Come baby come don't forget to come with your father's toilet"

When President Museveni jetted into Kenya for President William Ruto's swearing-in, he came with a truck that people said was a toilet.

The song continues;

"Muhoozi run, Muhoozi run, Muhoozi wants to live in the Riverside, Muhoozi don't run, Muhoozi run, Muhoozi don't run"

The musician uses clips from a man running away from armed GSU officers during the 2017 Kenyan General election when violence broke out over the presidential results.

The clip is from Kibera.

The lyrics continue urging Muhoozi to run.

"Muhoozi is faster than Kenyan a gun Muhoozi is faster than a bullet in a gun don't forget to come with your fathers' toilet, in Nairobi p[people pay for the toilet. Run like Murife you pay for haja ndogo Muhoozi run, Muhoozi don't run,".

The song is 2:20 minutes long and has amused Kenyans since it was shared on Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko's Twitter account.

Muhoozi this past weekend caused a social media storm when he made comments about capturing Kenya's capital Nairobi with his army in two weeks.

The series of tweets caused anxiety and on Tuesday, October 5, Uganda announced that Muhoozi had been promoted to an army General.

Lieutenant-General Muhoozi Kainerugaba was until Tuesday playing the role of the Commander of Uganda’s Land Forces. He was dropped and replaced by Kayanja Muhanga.

Gen Muhoozi, who made indications of leaving his post early Tuesday morning, said he had discussed with his father, the President, and that changes would be announced.

He also edited his Twitter handle, removing the post of land forces commander.

The Uganda army spokesperson, Brigadier General Felix Kulayigye confirmed the changes.
