Akorino twins expected 200 k subs from crazy publicity stunt

Akorino twins have revealed that nothing good came out from their recent publicity stunt except for the hate from netizens.

Speaking to Mpasho's Mary Ng'ang'a, the Akorino twins said,

"Hatujapata anything good out of the whole thing, hakuna opportunity zimekam, ata watch time ya YouTube hatujapata."

Peter, Emily's fiancé, noted that before the video went up, they were at 200 subscribers and had now they have steadily grown to over 3K.

"Before we went online with the story, we had less than 200 subscribers, and currently we are at 3.3K."

While thinking it was a good thing, Peter said it was a disappointment as they expected 150,000 subscribers minimum.

"We were expecting ifike 200,000k subs, 130, 000k au 150,000k subs ikienda chini sana, considering ilijulikana kila place."

He continued to share his regrets in coming up with the idea, as it has not been worth the hustle.

"I regret that we pulled the stunt, we have never been negatively affected in our lives as we have experienced the past few months."

Going deeper, Peter mentioned they lost friends and received a lot of draining negative energy.

"First, tumepata hatred ile mbaya to the extent we have lost friends.

The soon-to-be father said that guilt rendered them to come out after the clergy called them out for disgracing the church.

More to the clergy, the twins were also in contention with their parents over the idea.

"Mum ndiye alikuwa amejam mbaya but mzae alikuwa ameelewa already juu tulikuwa tumemshow, though alituambia story ndio inachoma so tujaribu kuchange storyline."

What about Emily's mum?

"Mama ya Emily ndiye alikuwa anaelewa zaidi, akatushow kama hapo ndio tutasaidika, tunaweza ifanya."

Following their recent display at archives- Nairobi asking for a job, Peter noted that it still hadn't materialized.

The placards read, "We need jobs, tumechoka na kiki. #Ifikie Riggy G."

In conclusion, Peter told Mpasho, they were expecting their little one to come in December.
