One of the last photos of Takeoff before his tragic death

Migos' rapper Take off has died following gunshot wounds in an incident in Houston.

From initial information that was shared online,  Quavo was with a few of his friends on the Northside of Houston in the greater Fifth Ward.

Hours later, the pair and their friends headed to town in South Houston for a private gathering to celebrate the birthday of Jas Prince, son of Mr. J. Prince.

However, after leaving the party, an altercation happened, which resulted in Takeoff losing his life.

Other reports suggest that Takeoff was shot and killed over a dice game.

Houston police reported that officers responded to the incident and have updated that one person was found deceased at he crime scene. That was at 3am. 

2 other people were shot and are being treated at a hospital.

Take off was aged 28. He released an album two weeks ago.

Distraught witnesses say they saw the rapper gunned down. He is now being mourned as a true rap  icon in trap music.
