Nigerian superstar Davido has officially arrived in Qatar.

The "Risky" hitmaker was spotted coming off a plane accompanied by his associates, Ubi Franklin, his lawyer, Prince, and some other 30BG gang members.

What caught the attention of most people was the customized blanket draped over his shoulders.

The Afropop star was spotted with a customized large fur knit blanket that had the face of his late son, Ifeanyi printed on it.

He looked super chilled in grey shorts a sweatshirt, long socks, flip-flops, and a black Marvin.

Davido is set to make his first public performance after his son's death at the 2022 FIFA World Cup closing ceremony.

He is set to perform at the closing event of the ongoing World Cup game which is said to be completed on December 18, 2022.

This was confirmed after Hong Kong businessman, Stephen Hung took to his official Instagram page to announce the news to his over 609 thousand followers.

Sharing on his Insta stories the businessman excitedly stated that he couldn’t wait to see Davido on stage as he confirmed that the artist had agreed to grace the closing ceremony.

"So happy my bro Davido confirmed that he will be performing at the World Cup Qatar closing ceremony. I can’t wait to see him there,” Stephen's post read.

According to reports making rounds online, Davido will perform the Qatar World Cup song “Hayya Hayya (Happy Together)” alongside Trinidadian singer Cardona and Qatari singer Aisha during the closing ceremony, which is scheduled for Sunday.
