Michael Bakari Jordan has been honored with a Hollywood walk of fame star for his bewildering contribution to the film and entertainment industry.
During the launching event, Michael B received a great number of praises for his achievement's from the main speakers one of them being, Ana Martinez, a producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Ana Martinez acknowledged him for being a household name and congratulated him for not giving up on his dreams.
“Michael B. Jordan has become a household name thanks to his many roles on the big screen. To think that this star didn’t grow up with dreams of being an actor! Luckily for us, he changed his mind and now he will be honored with an iconic star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame,” Ana Martinez said.
Michael Jordan is well known for being featured in the movies Black Panther, Creed, Just Mercy, Hardball, Without Remorse, Fruitvale Station, Mathusalem, and Fahrenheit 451.
During his speech, Jordan expressed his appreciation for the Hollywood walk of fame and reflected on how he started his career, the struggles, and how far he has come.
“I’m extremely humbled and grateful to be here. It’s not lost on me how special this moment is and what this represents to our community. So, from the bottom of my heart, I want to say thank you,” Jordan said.
“Growing up in Newark, New Jersey, the idea of receiving an honor like this was like a dream,” he added.
“But I’ve always been a dream chaser and never been afraid of hard work,” Jordan said.
Michael is also a producer of the production business company Outlier Society.
The company focuses on nurturing the next generation of media, arts, and entertainment sector leaders and the production of films.
The company has been featured in the production of Raising Dion, Untitled I am Legend Sequel, A Journal for Jordan, 61 Street, middle west, and many others.
He is also the owner of an English Soccer Club, AFC Bournemouth.
