Michael B Jordan recounts lessons from failed Lori Harvey relationship

While he maintained he isn't particularly looking to jump into another relationship, the actor revealed plans to be a better human when it comes to love in the future.

In an interview with Rolling Stones for their March issue, American actor and producer Michael B Jordan opened up about his previous relationship with famed model Lori Harvey as well as hopes for his next one.

The "Black Panther" actor who features as Rolling Stones star cover model revealed that he is working on being "more responsible" in his next relationship.

While he maintained he isn't particularly looking to jump into another relationship, the actor revealed plans to be a better human and more open when it comes to love in the future.

 
 
 

"Of course, I think about it, but I definitely want to try to be more responsible with that.

Knowing how I wanted to be as present as possible. It's gonna happen when it's supposed to happen." Jordan casually said.

As he highlighted that he truly did learn a lot while dating the 26-year-old and following their break up as well.

 
 
 

Reflecting on their break-up, he explained "I'm a firm believer in that what's for you is what's for you, and coming out of that situation... not to give it, you know... any energy and just kind of move from that is... it was an experience for me to grow and learn."

In the interview, the "Creed" franchise star insisted that he's retained an optimistic outlook to love and relationships.

The famed movie star who also happens to be among the most coveted men in history and American model Lori Harvey split up back in June last year after more than a year of dating.

During a tell-all episode with long-term friend Teyana Taylor, Lori opened up about why she dates on her own terms.

Speaking about her dating life the 25-year-old model  said, " I feel like if a situation no longer serves me, there is nothing wrong with me leaving that situation." 

Before adding, "I almost got married very young after that, it made me be like okay ...I felt like I hadn't really experienced anything. I didn't really know myself, I didn't really know what I liked, or what I didn't like. I just feel like I hadn't really experienced life."

She said she eventually came to a point where she wanted to "date on my terms."

She added, "However I want to move, whatever I want to do, I'm going to do it. And if it's no longer serving me, I'm going to move on."
