The family of the late South African artist Cost Titch has announced that their son's memorial service and tribute service is being held today via a lengthy Instagram.
In the post, the family thanked the late rapper's fans for their overwhelming love and support during this difficult time.
"The Tsobanoglou family would love to extend enormous gratitude to the Titch Gang community globally for their continued love and support during this incredibly difficult time. Having all of you sharing videos, pictures and memories of the impact our son had on many has softened the pain we carry." Part of the lengthy post read.
They went on reveal that they had already said goodbye to their late son but were extending a gracious act by holding the service to allow others to say their farewell as well.
"We said our final goodbye to our son, brother & friend, Wednesday 15 March, in a private ceremony surrounded by close family & an abundance of love.
In celebration of his life and legacy, there will be two memorial services for friends, partners, stakeholders, and most importantly the Titch Gang to pay their final respects. These will be hosted as follows:Date: Saturday 18 March 2023, Time: 2pm - Till Late, Venue: Bloom 14 Hawley Road Bedfordview.
Dress code: All black with a touch of green

They finished up by asking people who fail to acquire tickets to join the service online so as to avoid overcrowding the area.
"This memorial service will be attended by family, friends, stakeholders, and most importantly, members of his beloved Titch Gang. To ensure that we manage the limited capacity in the venue we will use a free ticketing system and tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Titch Gang members who are on the WhatsApp line will also have an opportunity to secure limited tickets.
Please note that tickets are not for sale. Do not exchange money with any third parties for access to the memorial service.

For safety & security reasons we encourage members of the public who do not have tickets not to come to the venue and to join the service virtually.
A second memorial will be held in his home province of Mpumalanga with more information to follow.
