Justice is finally getting served for the late American rapper XXX Tentacion born Jahseh Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy almost 5 years after he was brutally murdered in broad daylight.

X was shot several times back in June 2018 and the attackers also stole his Louis Vuitton bag which contained 50,000$ in cash (roughly Ksh. 6.2 million) before making a quick getaway in an SUV.

He died at just 20-years old and at the height of his career where he had hit the spotlight and was doing incredibly well.

After months in prison and a lengthy trial the 3 men convicted of murdering XXXTentacion just learned their fate with the judge sentencing them to life in prison.

A Florida jury also convicted the three of armed robbery with the verdict coming down following 8 days of deliberations.

The 3 are Michael Boatwright, Trayvon Newsome, and Dedrick Williams. There was a 4th guy, one Robert Allen the fourth but he pled guilty to second-degree murder last year August in exchange for testimonies against the other 3 in their trial.

Robert has not yet been sentenced

During the trial, prosecutors linked XXXTentacion's killers to the slaying through surveillance video from inside and outside Riva Motorsports, plus cell phone videos the men recorded showing them flashing $100 bills shortly after the shooting.

XXX was just 20 years old when he was shot and killed in June 2018 at a South Florida motorcycle dealership, in what prosecutors now say was a robbery. The killers were accused of shooting the rapper as he sat in his vehicle, then running off with a Louis Vuitton bag and $50,000 in cash.

His brutal death shocked the entire world and shook the American music industry.

Speaking about the verdict the late rapper's mom, Cleopatra Bernard, said she and the entire family at large are grateful the jury delivered a guilty verdict, and thankful prosecutors were able to secure it through their work at trial.

She says this has given them closure and will allow them to move forward in peace.

Cleopatra also noted that the attempt to rope  Canadian rapper Drake into the trial from the defence side was a transparently desperate ploy just to raise doubt and insists she and her loved ones always knew who was responsible for her son's death.

Her last words to her sons murderers, she says they better sleep with one eye open, as they'll be massive targets. She added, "my hope for these gentlemen is they will retain a firm grasp on the slippery soap."
