Davido's adopted son is a proud young man following his latest academic achievement.
The lad identified as Prince Abdulmalik Uthman or Man like Abdul as he calls himself on his socials just graduated from the University of Adeleke in Ede Osun State with a Bachelor's degree in engineering.
An accomplishment he maintains was no small feat.
Uthman is the only son of Davido's late manager and very close friend, Obama DMW.
After his father Obama DMW sadly passed away in June 2021, the Nigerian multi-award-winning musician adopted him as his son.
Taking to his social media pages, Uthman posted a photo of him donning his school's graduation gown as he went on to celebrate his win.
He, however, thanked God for granting him the strength to overcome all the obstacles and also appreciated Davido for all his support.
While sharing how challenging the journey has been, he admitted it was indeed a rough and tough one.
Man like Abdul also took time to praise his mom for standing by his side as he eulogized his dad in a hearty manner.
Fans are speculating on whether part of Uthman's post was dedicated to his late biological father of his adoptive father Davido as he just captioned 'Popsi'
Uthman calls the Afro Beats singer 'Popsi' ever since he took him under his wing.
"It was a Difficult Journey but I made it. Bachelor Of Engineering 🎓..
popsi will be like “…yo yo that’s my son o, he is now a graduate 😂…” and I really want to use this medium to appreciate My sweet beautiful Mother ❤️ #44" Uthman's post read.
Back in March, Davido and Uthman warmed fans' hearts after the lad surprised Davido at his home.
In a video shared on social media, Uthman could be seen filming from the moment he arrived at the mansion in Banana Island, to him walking into the building till the moment he meet Davido, who embraced him.
The two shared a hearty moment together before they proceeded to take pictures together.
