Ahmed Olalade alias Asake, made a grand entrance at his 02 Arena show in London on Sunday.

The 20,000-person auditorium's 20,000 concertgoers were mesmerised by the Nigerian musician's spectacular stage performances and songs from his many albums.

The background music for the "Joho" hitmaker's dramatic helicopter arrival into the auditorium was "Olorun," a song from his sophomore album "Work Of Art."

Although Asake had earlier stated that he would surprise his supporters with his appearance, nobody had high hopes for him.

According to several of his fans' responses, the entry ought to be honoured in the Hall of Fame for Afrobeats entrances.

Following his dramatic arrival, the musician played famous songs from his debut album, "Mr Money With The Vibe," to delight his audience.

Later, Asake brought Fireboy, another musician, on the stage to play their hit song "Bandana," which had the audience singing along and imitating.Olomide was also performing, getting the crowd moving to their hit songs "Amapiano" and "Omo Pepe."

After selling out the 5000-seat O2 Brixton Academy in London in 2022, Asake performed in the 02 Arena.

After performing at Brixton Academy in 2022, Asake's concert at the 02 Arena is his first in London this year.

The capacity of the event last year was 5000, but this year's concert exceeded that by more than 10,000.

A stampede that resulted in the deaths of two persons, though, overshadowed the event.

Since entering the spotlight, Asake has continued to receive a colossal amount of support outside of his show. Additionally, he has received a deluge of accolades for his work.

All 12 of his debut album's songs debuted at the top of Nigeria's Apple Music Top 100 chart when it was first released.
