Following the sudden passing of Nigerian singer Mohbad, his wife Omowunmi has taken to her socials to mourn her childhood sweetheart who passed away yesterday, Tuesday, September 12, 2023.
Sharing a series of photo detailing their relationship timeline the 24 year old eulogized her husband as she expressed the intense pain she was currently going through.
Omowunmi who also goes by Wunmi revealed her husband's passing was extremely heavy on her as it had come on the same day that their son Liam had just clocked 5 months of age.
"Liam is just 5 months, where do I start from? This man dies a few minutes after I posted his son's 5th month birthday," wrote the mourning influencer.
In her series of posts she went on to state that her late husband endured pains constantly and had lost his spark before his death.
"This ni**a struggled till death, too many pains, he has always lived with fears, continuous fights everywhere he goes too. He has never been happy for a whole day."
"He was called a Junkie, a mad person with mental issues so the public would have another view about him. He's dead now at least y'all won, take your trophy. Y'all made me a widow at 24 years, Olorun Idajo re ooo." her heartbreaking post read.
Wun Mi went on to reveal that the singer had become more paranoid after the birth of their son Liam, and was constantly in fear.
"Nothing makes him happy no more, even after seeing his baby he became more worried, he was a family man and did not want anything to happen to us...
I was supposed to collect my baby's passport yesterday so we could process our travelling. He would always say to me 'Wunmi please go for my baby's sake, I wouldn't want these people to harm you and him it would break me...you just go, let them face them myself," she wrote on her Instagram stories.
Finishing up she cried for help calling upon people to help her as on her own she had no bearing and could not comprehend everything going on.
Wunmi stressed that she wouldn't wish her pain on anyone, adding that Mohbad was a wonderful partner to her and a good father to their son who would now sadly grow up without him, only learning about his dad from other people and the media.
Although it is unclear when the singer and his partner got married, she celebrated him highlighting that he gave her the wedding of her dreams and totally loved her in all the ways she had envisioned love to be.
