Ice Spice set to drop new song featuring Rema

American drill rapper who went viral with her 2022 track 'Munch (Feelin' U),' Ice Spice has shocked fans after revealing she has a new song with Nigerian Afro beats star Rema.

The 23-year-old whose real name is Isis Gaston, took to the social media app X (formerly Twitter) to announce the news.

In a post shared on her official X account on Wednesday 11th October, 2023, Ice Spice revealed that the song was already complete and would be dropping this Friday, 13th October.

 

According to the rapper, the song is titled, 'Pretty Girl'.

The 23-year-old fast-rising rapper also shared the news on her official Instagram page with her over 9.8 million followers, unable to keep her excitement in.

Rema in part has barely done anything to promote the song but he did comment on Ice Spice's post leaving a kissy face emoji and a snowflake.

He also shared Ice's post on his Instagram stories albeit without any comment.

 
 

The announcement has generated excitement among fans who are eager to hear what the collaboration between Ice and one of Nigeria's biggest stars is going to sound like given their different styles and vibe when it comes to music.

Fans praised Ice Spice for choosing to collaborate with Rema noting the song will most definitely be a bop like his hit song 'Calm Down' featuring Selena Gomez.
