Kenyan rapper who is also one-third of the hip hop group Wakadinali, Churchill Mandela, better known by his stage name Scar, is throwing shade at other Kenyan record labels noting they are too judgmental and filled with village mentality to see beyond their noses.

According to Scar and a lengthy Instagram post that he shared on his page, his record label Zoza Nation is the only A1 label in the country that deserves accolades.

"Zoza Nation is the only working label in Kenya!," the rapper said.

He went on to throw shade at other labels highlighting that they are only open to deemed artists. Maintaining most record labels out there are too judgmental and only carted to a specific clientele.

"Hizo zenu mlifungua juu mnakwanga too judgmental to artists, (those other labels were only opened up because you guys are too judgmental)" the 'Real, Raw & Raw' crooner wrote.

Scar went on to highlight that the whole judging an artist merely based on their appearance was so backdated and should be done with. He listed some things that he feels label houses use to discriminate against artists terming their thinking process as village mentality.

"Mara ni mlevi, mara ni mwizi, mara ni mchafu, mara ni drug addict, mara corporate (several laughing emojis) ushamba mno, USHAMBA!!!" Scars post went on to read.

Finishing off he went on to remind people that he wasn't like other producers and his record label did not care who you were their agenda was to produce and have music flying high.

"I don't care what an artist uses the album/mission must be completed #Rong way," the last of his lengthy post read.

What are your thoughts on this? Do you agree with Scar or should standards be upheld regardless of musical talent?
