Diamond's mother Mama Dangote has revealed that her grandson Naseeb Junior whom her son shares with Kenyan artist and entrepreneur Tanasha Donna is no longer residing in Tanzania.
Speaking during an interview with Wasafi TV, Mama Dangote gave insight into how her family was doing - noting that as much as she really wanted to spend more time with her grandkids that could not happen.
While at it she noted that her youngest grandchild, Naseeb was already back in Kenya as her mother Tanasha Donna had left Tanzania.
She also dispelled rumours that Tanasha was living with the 'Enjoy' crooner.
“Naseeb is not living in Tanzania; he is in Kenya with his mum. The mum had come to work. His mum’s job ended, and they went back,” Diamond's mother candidly revealed.
On why the child had started school in Tanzania if the two were not staying - Mama Dangote revealed it was her idea.
Highlighting the international school Naseeb attends has a branch in both countries so there was no need for Naseeb to miss school.
“The school he was in has branches in Kenya, and that is why he was enrolled here. I am the one who wanted him enrolled in school,"
Finishing up, she revealed that Diamond was working on getting custody of all of his kids. His son that he shares with Tanasha, the two he shares with Zari, and hopefully Hamisa's son as well... although that's a tricky one considering how strained their relationship is.
According to her, Diamond is waiting for the kids to hit 7 then he'll have them.
“I would want to live with them, but they are still young. Once they get to age 7, their dad takes them. But if they sit down and agree, he can come here or where the parents agree,” Mama Dangote revealed.
Last year, back in September the adoring grandmother showed a video of Naseeb and Tanasha in Diamond's house with suitcases lying behind them.
In the video, Tanasha is heard in the background encouraging her son to say Salama Leikum.
Mama Dangote loved the moment so much, that she gave over the boy.
"Tom Kaka has grown. At last Naseeb kichwa @diamondplatnumz wakes up in the morning to take his child to school... 🤲" she told of the family arrangement leaving netizens confused over the ties of their relationship.
