Brace yourselves people, Doja Cat's mom has revealed that Doja's older brother Raman, has been physically and verbally abusing both her and Doja Cat which has forced her to file for a restraining order.

2024 is off to a very dramatic start both locally and internationally and I am reeling!

Also, the family qualms might explain why Doja might be acting the way she does because Chile...

Doja's mom, Deborah Elizabeth Sawyer, filed for a temporary restraining order against her 30-year-old son, Raman Dalithando Dlamini.

In her filing, she asked the judge to grant one for her 28-year-old daughter Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini popularly known by her stage name Doja Cat as well.

In the legal documents, she revealed that Raman has allegedly been physically and verbally abusive to his small sister.

She claimed the 'Agola Hills' crooner in the recent past has had her teeth knocked out by Raman.

What in the world's name is going on this year? And Mercury isn't even in retrograde.

It gets worse, in the court documents Deborah also alleges that Raman on different occasions has given Doja cuts and bruises, and destroyed and stolen some of the 'Woman' hitmaker's property.

To top it off, Deborah also revealed Raman is verbally abusive towards Doja "in a very degrading and demeaning manner and has made his sister feel unsafe and traumatized."

When it comes to her, Doja's mom Deborah told the judge that Raman has physically abused her and threatened her multiple times over the past year, claiming the most recent incident happened earlier this month.

Luckily, the judge has granted Deborah court-ordered protection from Raman pending a hearing for a permanent restraining order, but sadly it does not extend to her famous daughter.

The judge noted that the multi-award-winning artist would have to file her own request for a restraining order.

Interestingly, this is not the first time Deborah has had to file a restraining order against her son.

She noted she had one in the past, but it's since expired.
