Veteran Barbadian singer, actress and businesswoman, Robyn Rihanna Fenty popularly known by her middle name, Rihanna just started the month millions of dollars richer and in a different continent.

The 36-year-old beauty mogul flew to India to perform at a pre-wedding party of a couple identified as Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant' which was held in Jamnagar yesterday evening (March 1, 2024)

28-year-old Mr. Anant is the son to Indians richest man Mukesh Ambani, who is the chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries, which has interests in telecom, oil and gas, and retail and financial services. Mukesh did not spare any change when it came to his son's magical night.

His wife, Radhika Merchant, aged 29 is just as monied as he is. The beauty is the daughter of wealthy business magnate Viren Merchant, who is the CEO of pharma company Encore Healthcare Private Limited.

It is reported that she performed for 40 minutes, giving the audience 17 of her songs. And apparently bagged millions of dollars. Reports of how much she was paid are widely unclear with some reporting $6 million dollars and others going as high up to $12 million dollars.

Only thing that is clear, is Riri made millions from that night's performance

As per the videos doing viral rounds online Rihanna looked gorgeous as she donned a fluorescent green bodycon ensemble paired with a shimmering gown,

The mother of 2 could be seen on a huge concert worthy stage with a full squad of backup dancers, along with tour-worthy lighting and special effects as she belted her heart out to some of her hit songs such as 'Diamonds, 'Work,' 'Pour It Up,'' and 'B*tch Better Have My Money.'.

Another thing that dazzled fans is the fact that the mother of 2 chose to perform barefoot all through her set. This was seen as a way of the beauty mogul paying homage to Indian culture and traditions, which won the hearts of many. She also did not have a wardrobe change throughout the whole 40 minutes.

The pre-wedding bash was a three-day extravaganza, with around 1,200 guests attending the festivities, which included traditional ceremonies, visits to the Ambanis’ animal rescue, and a ‘jungle fever’ theme party.

The guest list also featured prominent personalities like Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, Disney CEO Bob Iger, Ivanka Trump, Hillary Clinton, Bill Gates, and members of Bhutan’s royal family. The guests were provided with a detailed, nine-page dress code for the different events.

Interestingly, this is not the first time the Ambani's have gone all out and splashed money for their celebrations.

Back in 2018, they invited Beyoncé to perform at the sangeet of their daughter Isha Ambani, who married Anand Piramal, the son of another billionaire industrialist.

They have also flown in Coldplay's Chris Martin and The Chainsmokers to perform at some of their ceremonies.
