Radio Africa Group, through its events brand (Radio Africa Events)earlier on hosted a purple themed women's summit in accordance to the International Women's Day celebrations.
The event held at Capital Club, Westlands aimed at empowering women by providing them with tools,resources, and opportunities to not only enhance their economic empowerment but their financial independence as well.
2024's theme for International Women's Day (IWD) was: Banking on the Future of Women, in a world where time is of the essence, it's imperative that women invest in other women and Radio Africa Events through its breakfast summit ensured it created an environment to help make this possible.
Some of the high profile notable women in attendance include; Dr Lucy Mathenge, who is the program specialist governance at the UN women- Kenya, Sera Kitusya, CEO of Belva Group, Anita Chege who is the GM for innovation HF, Zuhura Ogeda Odhiambo who is the MSK chair-CEO and Founder at MRSA, Imelda Ngunzu, director global partnerships and segments innovation Mastercard.
Kiprono Kittony who is Chairman of the Nairobi Securities Exchange and Radio Africa Group founder and CEO Patrick Quarcoo are also in attendance.
