Kenyan comedian and MC Steven Oduor popularly known as DJ Shiti has revealed he is now ready for the international market.

According to the father of one, he has outgrown the DJ Shiti persona and theatrics and is now ready for other things... different things.

Speaking during a sit down he had with Oga Obinna, the actor also addressed comments swirling on social media intimating that his career was now done and he was soon to be forgotten following the end of his debut show Real House helps of Kawangware.

"Watu wanasema umeisha (people are now claiming that your time is up, you are done for," the former Kiss FM presenter said to his guest, a clear statement calling for a response.

DJ Shiti corrected Obinna noting that people were not saying such unsolicited things, only his haters were. Which makes a whole difference.

"Watu hawasemi nimeisha, maadui tu ndio wanasema nimeisha," a confident Shiti candidly said.

Seemingly trying to goad his guest the father of 5 brought up Shiti's former glory gig dubbed, 'Real House Helps of Kawangware,' insinuating that since the show came to an end, Shiti's popularity and influence has also been taking a nosedive.

"Ety oohh Real House Helps ilikuja nini nini na ikaisha na Shiti akiisha nayo," Obinna added.

Responding to this the funny man shared a bit of advice that has helped him navigate life that he feels others should embrace as it helps make things seamless.

"Real Househelps haikuisha. You know they say, 'leave the stage while the music is still playing.' Don't wait for something to just end like this. You know there are artists who just disappear just like this in front of peoples eyes, like you can just see them dwindling," the father of 1 maturely quipped.

He went on to emphasize the importance of knowing when to leave as well as advancing to better things when you still have a high momentum.

"Change is inevitable, as well as growth. So when you see you have been doing something for a certain period of time and it is good, don't just give it out till its last drop.

Usiikamue tu mpaka iishe (don't drain it completely,"shared DJ Shiti.

He went on to reveal that he is currently over the DJ Shiti persona as well as the voice skits he used to do.

"Ilikuwa na wakati wake, sahii labda ikilipiwa, mtu alipie nifanye kitu fulani. Sahii tunaenda international but that does not mean that we stop working here at home and abandon things.

Hufai kulenga nyumbani, unaedelea kujenga tu,"
