'Dusuma' hitmaker Otile Brown has shared his disdain for artists turning into influencers and TikTok content creators.

The soft spoken 30-year-old artist born, Jacob Obunga noted he believes being too available makes one lose their value. And that is what content creation is doing to our artists.

Otile acknowledged that TikTok has its advantages such as helping one's song trend but at the end of the day it takes away so much more from the artist.

"TikTok has turned artists into influencers," started off the R&B artist.

Expounding on what he meant by his sentiments he went on to add;

"As an artist, you should not be out that much dancing on social media. It might make your song grow but it takes something from you. As an artist, you should be rare,"

Finishing up the Just in Love music CEO  argued that people get so used to an artist from seeing them online that they stop being invested in them as a person. He emphasized that he feels fans eventually even stop coming to concerts because the artist's value has depreciated.

"People won't see the need to come to your shows because you are already exposed," added the 'Baby Love' crooner.

He noted that the way he had packaged himself, his fans upon the calling would willingly go to war for him as he fits in all the right boxes and demographics.

"It's not about me being a King, it is about impacting the society. I have an army I do not have fans. I have songs kids can listen to with their parents.

I have people who can go to war for me,"

As an artist Otile is currently enjoying high musical success having garnered over 1.4 million YouTube subscribers, which makes him Kenyan's musician with one of the highest subscribers.

He has 100 million streams on Boomplay. His Just in Love album has recorded success with over 30 million streams, and his collabo 'Jeraha' with Jovial recorded 10 million streams.
