In a video montage the content creator shared before and after pictures of herself showcasing the huge difference from last year when she was 117kgs to this year (so far) where she weighs 97kgs.

Murugi also shared her daily habits that have been key in helping her wade off excess fat and ensure she sticks to her goals.

"I meant it when I said 2023 was my last fat year 🥹 A girl has been working hard. 20kg down and only about 22 left but we are like halfway and that’s so encouraging!" Started off the mother of 3 excitedly,

She went on to add besides working out and portion control mixed with being in a calorie deficit state, she has been getting weekly injections that help her with the fat burning process.

"I’ve been on semaglutide for 3 months now and it continues to be the gift that keeps on giving.

With consistent good nutrition and working out 3-4 times a week 💪🏽Please note that this day of eating is just a sample. Some days I eat healthier than others, other days I eat more food, other days less.

Just depends On how I’m feeling that day! I’ll try do more of these so you can see the pattern 🙏🏽❤️" Murugi added.

According to medical journals and websites, Semaglutide injection is typically used to treat type 2 diabetes and, when combined with diet and exercise, helps control blood sugar levels.

It also reduces the risk of heart attack, stroke, or death in patients with type 2 diabetes, obesity, and heart or blood vessel disease.

Semaglutide belongs to a class of medications known as GLP-1 receptor agonists, which mimic the GLP-1 hormone released in response to eating, interacting with the brain to suppress appetite and signal fullness.

The injects can help one lose up to 2-4 kgs per week.
