Nigerian singer Ruger has thrown shade at fellow star Kizz Daniel. In a tweet, the singer who is performing in Tanzania this weekend  wrote;                                                                                                                                            "Tanzania! I'm here and I didn't forget my bags. See you October 1st," he wrote accompanying it with a love emoji.

His tweet comes three weeks after Kizz Daniel's visit to Tanzania was faced with dramatic events.

He refused to perform after alleging that his bag that had his clothes was left at an airport in Kenya.

Celebrities including Harmonize brought bags of designer clothes to the Nigerian star but still refused to perform.

He was put in custody by Tanzanian police and forced to stage another performance as furious fans destroyed property at the venue.

"We waited for him until dawn but he was nowhere to be found," said a source.

Adding; "People got angry, they started throwing all kinds of things on the stage. We paid the show to see Ruger we are told he didn't come because he didn't have clothes to wear to stage,".

This also affected other shows he was set to perform at.

At the time, the promoters apologized to fans for the singer's actions.

"We at Str8up Vibes are very sorry for what happened at the Summer Amplified concert on August 7,2022 where Kizz Daniel did not perform as anticipated. We acknowledge that this has resulted in disappointment for our loyal customers and long-time valuable stakeholders,” they said in a statement

Adding;  We are taking are taking appropriate action in handling this matter with rigour, and assure the public and the fans that paid and attended, that we are doing everything we can to make sure that they are taken care of. We request your patience as we deal with this. We shall communicate the next steps in due course."
