Gloria Ntazola, popular tiktoker who shared a video ranting to a city county askari 'Kanjo' says she is sorry about the vulgar language she used towards him.
Speaking to radio presenter Massawe Japani, Ntazola said;
“Kusema ukweli ninaomba radhi sana ninajuta kutumia lugha kama ile dhidi yake [kanjo]. Hiyo si tabia yangu kwa kawaida, kutoka nyumbani nilikuwa na hasira zangu kutokana na mwenye nyumba kuongeza kodi ya kila mwezi."
(I am truly sorry for using such vulgar language towards him. Thats not who I am. When I left home, I was angry at my landlord for rising my rent)
"Biashara iko chini sana na mtu yeyote anayefanya biashara anaweza kuambia biashara katika siku za hivi karibuni haijakuwa sawa, tunahangaika kupata pesa."
(Business is not good and anyone who owns one knows that life has not been easy, we struggle to get money)
She added that her family especially her mum was not pleased with the video.
“Mama yangu ni mchungaji, hakufurahia kabisa jinsi nilivyomkabili kanjo, alinipigia simu akiniuliza kwa nini nilikuwa hivyo lakini nikamwambia Nairobi lazima ukuwe na ngozi ngumu,”
(My mum is a pastor, she was not happy with how I handled the guy. She called me to ask why I acted that way and I told her in Nairobi, you have to be hard-headed)
After sharing the incident on her Tiktok, it was banned.
“Akaunti yangu ilizama nafikiri ni kwa vile nilitumia lugha ya matusi dhidi ya kanjo, lakini baada ya kuwaambia watu nimeanzisha akaunti mpya nilishangazwa sana kwa jinsi walinifuata kwa haraka na kwa wingi, kwa sasa niko na wafuasi Zaidi ya elfu 50,” Ntazola alisema kwa madaha
(The account was banned for using Vulgar language but after telling people that I had started a new account, I was surprised with how they quickly followed me.)
The 25-year-old is a businesswoman who runs a cosmetic shop.
