Davido just announced his forthcoming O2 Arena show, months after Wizkid headlined a sold out concert at the same Arena in London, talk of motivation.

It would be recalled Davido congratulated Wizkid on being the first African to have accomplished this milestone and confessed to wanting to also hold his own sold out show there.

Well, it seems that dream is not far off, as he has just announced he would be headlining a concert in the O2 Arena on 27th January, 2019.

He made this announcement via his instagram account, where he posted an image of the banner accompanied by a caption featuring verse from the Bible. Who knew Mr lover boy was this spiritual. It reads,

F YOU HAVE FAITH AS SMALL AS A MUSTARD SEED , U CAN MOVE MOUNTAINS !! LONDON 🇬🇧 JAN 27th 2019 WE SHUT DOWN THE ARENA !! I CANT DO THIS WITHOUT YALL 😇 AFRICA LETS GO ! ⚡⚡⚡🤯🤯🤯🔥🔥🔥🚀🚀🚀🚀

We are not shocked though, as this year has arguable been his biggest year yet.

From the first half of the year alone, OBO as he's also known, has headlined six shows in the UK as part of his 30 Billion tour and to add, his numerous awards this year alone.

OBO has also been announced as one of the performances at Jay-Z’s Made in America festival this summer, and is sure to hold his own besides other performers.

But for the forthcoming concert, he's yet to announce any supporting acts, though we are sure he would with time.

This comes after his very successful performance at this year's wireless concert, which happens to be his debut as well.

From a video he posted, via the picture sharing app, it was clear the fans couldn't get enough of him, and the singer wasn't having it when his time was threatened to be cut short.

Again, his post was accompanied with a caption throwing more light on what occurred, the caption reads,

Everyone’s emotions were so HIGH at this point! They were trying to Cut our time short !😂🤯! The Crowd wasn’t having it ! We weren’t Havnt it! And my God wasn’t having it !! FIA 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Wireless 🇬🇧 2018!! WAAAAY UP!!! 🌟⚡.
