The secret to the onscreen chemistry between Lulu Hassan and her husband Rashid Abdalla has been revealed.
In an exclusive interview with , Rashid spoke so fondly of his on-air-and-off-air bae, Lulu.
They both anchor news together on Citizen TV.
Asked how they keep their off-air fights from infringing on their on-air chemistry, Rashid said,
"I think the best advice to everyone out there is - not just necessarily about me and Lulu - in any relationship if you believe you will have an IRRECONCILABLE fall out, then that relationship is as good as dead!"
He continued;
In a relationship, you should be aware that there's a difference between arguing and having IRRECONCILABLY differences. In any relationship people fight, that doesn't mean it is over, you grown and learn through that. You love each other even more because of that.
Asked what makes them such a power couple on TV. Rashid simply explained,
"Don't go for fame. Don't fight for that title of the best artiste, simply fight to give people the best. Let them decide if you are the best. For myself and Lulu we are not the best anchors in this world, we always try to give the best. It is the viewers who will decide who is the best."
