Matonya began to be plagued by rumours linking him to drug dealing. How else could he account for his music? I mean his two big jams might have had him touring East Africa like his passport came with free tickets but for Tanzanians, this just didn't add up.

Now, however, he has resurfaced on Tanzanian blogs and the guys at Global Publishers decided to look at his wealth and they did a stellar job. He has corporate buildings aswell as several real estate developments in Tanzania which he largely rents out. In Kitengela the Tanzanian is also building a house in Kitengela.
