Tabitha Karanja has 7 days to raise 10 million shillings as bail or a 15 million shilling bond and her father who is 71 years old has been granted 5 million shillings as bail Keroche Industries as a company was also handed a 15 million shilling bail.

Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi in a brief ruling said Mr Karanja, a septuagenarian, is a senior citizen and its required that he receives proper care. In order not to curtail his ability to get medical care he would be granted fair bail terms.

The matter will be mentioned on September 2nd and the pre-trial will be heard on September 24th by Magistrate Martha Mutuku.
