Ali Kiba is a time tested and tried hitmaker and Aslay is the young gun who first blew on the scene with a song about snitching on his philandering father to his mother. Together they are a dynamic duo!
The jam has an interesting blend of Swahili beats with modern snares and 808 drumkits. The song starts off with Aslay telling his lady love that he wants to make all their haters jealous and give them a reason to get angry at their love. Seems to be a theme in Tanzania honestly but I always say, "if it aint broke, don't fix it".
Then Ali Kiba comes on to sweet talk his lady love into giving him her passion and he then explains what it is her love does to him. He also makes a point to tell her to ignore the naysayers and gossip mongers. I made not of that particular part because of this story:
