While no one is actually focusing on the needy and marginalised people in the society in this tie of need, Akothee has decided to not just sit at home and watch them suffer.

Akothee announced that through her Akothee foundation, she is more than ready and willing  to buy and supply sanitizers and liquid soaps and distribute, "to those who have no idea of what's going on in the world."

The award winning singer announced that as a woman she is taking the responsibility which if all other women took, the world could be a much better place.

However, the president of single mothers is planning to do it all with a much different angle which will involve empowering other women.

She plans to buy from women who make home made soaps as she looks for where she can buy masks.

She was also quick to remind her potential sources that she knows the market price and won't be swindled.

Read her post;

What world would we have if all women accepted that we are women and can do great things together to support our community, I need sanitizer and liquid soaps to go and distribute to those who have no idea of what's going on in the world.

WHERE CAN I BUY THE MASKS?

Where are those women who manufacture home made soaps, let me be your customers today, I know that business so msinigonge, I know the price, please if you have some drop in on inbox with the price, thank you @akotheefoundation, let's start with 10 litres packed in small containers #savethevulneranle

Just the other day Akothee was complaining of how she was dead bored at home thanks to all these self quarantine period.

What's inspiring is the fact she has decided to tackle the problem head on and challenged other women and everyone to join in the noble plan.

Together we can make the world a better place even in times of crisis.
