And the drama on NaiFest continues. Bridget Achieng has had to explain so much from that day. Mind you it was on the 7th of November.
Speaking to Violleta on Jalang'o TV she went all out in full details on her beef with Tanasha.
Bringing you up to speed,
"I do not like doing interviews and mentioning people's names. I would not let anyone put my name on the mad just because they want to but because my image is on the line, I will just talk."
Then she went all in.
"Tanasha did not come to the event because we had a deal woman to woman. She asked me because I know people in Nigeria and that's true so she wants links to AFRIMMA. I am more famous in Nigeria than in Kenya and I get more respect there than here. She was not part of my lineup but her manager insisted. We have a few things in common and I respect her but if I show you the conversation between me and her, people will hate her. There is more but I do not want to. I almost told her that is why Diamond left you. We did not even have a written contract it was just verbal.
So I was to pay for her flight to Nigeria and connect her to those guys in AFRIMMA and in exchange, she would perform at NaiFest. I can show you the texts. " Bridget revealed

Then the beef started two days to the event,
"Then two days to the event, she texts me saying she needs a deposit because she felt she felt she needed to be paid then the other part we will sort. And I was like but we had a conversation woman to woman? Why just ambush me now?
Before all this she even requested to have Jamal on board as an MC and he should introduce her. I did not want either of them because I usually have a heavy line up, I decided to flow since Jamal is also my guy."
According to Bridget, things started getting nasty.
"Throughout the day I was busy so I did not respond I was busy trying to sort out Reekado and all. So in the evening, she started sending me abuse texts. I called her and told her to come for soundcheck on Friday and I will pay her the deposit. That day I saw she was in Mombasa.
Why did she post that she will not come for the show, we would have had an amicable decision and post it. I even asked her if we are fighting. And that is why she did not perform."
I know, super dramatic. Bridget must have had one of the toughest weeks ever. But she still says she is the boss she is and she will hold another one come December.
She even spilled it would be a UK artiste. But this one she promised she will level up on security.
