New expressway users have been flaunting stunning pictures of the amazing views from the raised platform.

On today’s morning Kiss, Chito and Obinna spoke about how these expressway road users are applying pressure, flaunting how they have used the expressway prior to others.

Did you see Tumbili at the expressway, I was wondering what he was doing on the expressway, he lives in Kitengela, and not only Tumbili, there are other people saying that oh! Today I have tried the expressway for the first time and when you arrive at the toll station you have no money!" started Obinna as he laughed.

Chito joined in the conversation adding, “I actually heard of that story where he got stuck along the expressway and you know the fine for towing a vehicle is close to 40,000 to 400,000…”

Wacha ikae huko, (I would rather leave it there).” Interrupted Obinna.

It is called express for a reason and let me tell you our Kikuyu brothers will start taking their shawties for dates at the expressway, they will be like, “Wacha nikupeleke kidogo hapa expressway tu express kidogo.” Chito continued as he added a Kikuyu accent towards the end.

Obinna, couldn't be left out saying, “They will say that Unaona Uhuru akioga, kuna mahali hapo ukipita mtu anaeza Uhuru aki brush, ukipanda expressway na gari nzee, utapata express charges.

Over the past week, a road accident was reported on the newly constructed Nairobi Expressway.

The accident involved a personal car and occurred after the car hit a fence and landed on the highway.

As it stands, the base toll charge for using the Expressway from Mlolongo to the James Gichuru exit in Westlands is currently set at Ksh.360.

Meanwhile, the cost of using the Expressway between the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) and Westlands is Ksh. 300.
