It seems as if we are yet to see the end of this estranged sibling rivalry between recording and performing artist Esther Akothee and her younger sister Cebbie Koks.
Following Akothee's latest Instagram post a section of netizens believe that the entrepreneur was low-key taking shots at her sister a month after their nasty public fallout.
The mother of five posted a series of photos of her and her current boyfriend Omosh chilling at her almost palatial homestead in Rongo where she bragged about how she is super lucky that she has everything and does not need to take photos in hotels or at other people's houses to post on social media.
"Now you understand why I am lazy taking photos in hotels or people's homes whenever I visit, I am very okay. Good day sweetie," wrote the entrepreneur.
Now if you know Akothee's younger sister you definitely know that that statement was a below-the-belt attack aimed specifically at Cebbie.
On countless occasions, Cebbie has admitted that she loves taking pictures whenever she visits pretty places and luxurious hotels. And pictures she does take and posts on her socials.
But she hardly shows anything about where she lives unlike her big sister who loves to show off her several amazing homes
Just last week she was at Rusinga Island Lodge, and she did not shy away from posting several pictures of herself and the resort.
With Cebbie's wedding date fast approaching it still seems as if there's no room for reconciliation between the two and Akothee might seriously not attend her sister's big day.
The bitter rivalry between the two sisters came to light a few years ago after Edgar Obare exposed Cebbie for backstabbing Akothee.
Cebbie however discredited those rumors saying their beef comes and goes like any other sibling rivalry
“Family is family and I like the way people kept on attacking me ‘oooh you can’t fight the president of single mothers [akothee]’ she’s, my sister. even if I killed today, she’ll open her arms and accept me because she’s more of my mother something people don’t know.” Cebbie said.
She went on to add, "we also fight badly and hit optimum. What people don’t know is that when Akothee and I are fighting in that family nobody talks because no one can bring us together.
We don’t have to show you that we’re talking or we’re good. It didn’t dent us as much."
But it seems there is only so much break up to make up individuals can take even if they're blood-related.
The singer a months ago disclosed that she has not been on good terms with her younger sister for the past year and she does not plan on making amends as he has clocked out of that relationship.
“We are having another event in December which I am very happy about.
The only thing is I'm not going to attend that wedding because me and my younger sister I have not been on good terms for almost a year now. (Maybe you didn’t know) I packed my bags and left this relationship on 31ST December.
