On Wednesday, April 19, 2023, Akothee’s daughter Fancy Makadia went public with her relationship.
This was the first time Fancy was introducing her boyfriend to the world but the face of her man had been blurred in the photo she shared.
“Hey you, I am truly blessed to have you as a part of my life. Thank you for being my lover, my friend, and my confidant.
“Your love has given me the confidence and courage to conquer this world. I thank you for making me a better person. You could have had anyone in this world, but you chose me. Thank You.
“I love you OC (Osiep Chunya),” Fancy Makadia captioned the photo posing with her boyfriend who had his father blurred.
The move prompted online sleuths to go digging trying to unmask the mystery man dating Fancy Makadia.
It did not take long before they returned with an alleged photo of a man believed to be dating Fancy.
In the said photo that has their faces unmasked, the two could be seen posing for the camera in the same outfits as in the blurred photos – making Netizens believe that they have solved the puzzle.

The said photo was first shared on Edgar Obara’s platform BNN before other Netizens picked it up.
Fancy graduated a month ago and her entire family flew to France for the occasion.
She is the third among five siblings.
She was studying Hospitality and Marketing. She will be taking on a Master's degree.
A few days after Akothee's wedding, the singer shared pictures of her bridal team telling why she included them on her team.
She began by praising her children
"My children are my strength my pride and my achievements. All I have achieved in life I give credit. My whole family does or die. Tears of joy seeing mummy finally happy and Off the market. My children planned everything"
For Fancy, Akothee said; "@fancy_makadia was in charge of checking up on me and if all was okay, she did this virtually to make sure the bride to be is not running away, Fancy called me 7 times a day 🤣🤣, with mummy are you okay, calling me Nrs Omosh and laughing, My entire wedding committee is here. My heartbeat and my strength."
