Netizens have come out to express their fury and disappointment with veteran artist Colonel Mustapha, branding him the new Omosh.
This is after the former artist went on an interview to ask Kenyans for more money highlighting he needs about Sh1.5 to Sh2 million so that they can be all set.
An interview Mustapha recently did with The Gold Mine Show started doing rounds online and fans couldn't hide their displeasure with how entitled and proud the former artist appeared to be.
"Tumebakisha let us say tukipata like ka sh1 million ingine or like sh2 million to be exact wacha niseme sh1.5 million I think. Tukipata hiyo sh1.5 million kila kitu itakuwa sawa," Mustapha candidly told the host.
Dennis, the talk show host a little taken aback by this proceeded to ask Mustapha if he is sure that is the only money he needed, and if he got that everything would be okay.
"Bill ya mathe itakuwa imeshughulikiwa? So target yako sahii ni sh1.5 million? So ukipata hiyo one and a half mama ata pata ya kutibiwa bila any worries?" Dennis asked.
To which Mustapha replied that once he gets the sh1.5 million he'd be all good and no longer worrying about his mom. He added after that he'd want to be given a job or have people sponsor his journey back to the entertainment scene then he'd be up on his feet.
"After that so ni mziki, kama ni mziki mtanisimamia au ni kazi mtanipatia kutoka hapo nitaweza kupambana na mama mpaka mwisho," Mustapha replied.
On the loyalties wrangle he was involved in with Music Copyright Society of Kenya (MCSK ) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Ezekiel Mutua, Mustapha revealed that he was pushing for that money for his mom. Adding that everything he is doing is just for her and that's why he wants his loyalties.
Furious Kenyans demanded to see the alleged ailing mother and hospital receipts so as prove that Mustapha one, was telling the truth and it wasn't just another sob story and two to really see if he had used the money contributed for the right purpose.
