Move over Lupita Nyong'o, veteran thespian, brand influencer and digital content creator Catherine Kamau aka Kate Actress is taking over when it comes to sampling unconventional meals.
The mother of 2 is currently in Malaysia chasing the bag and while there she couldn't pass up seeing besides beef and chicken what else the Southeast Asian country fancies as a delicacy.
Kate, who is there in the company of fellow actress and content creator Jackie Matubia decided to go for a stroll as they sampled Malaysian street food.
In a video shared on Instagram, as part of their meal, the two decided to try deep-fried frogs.
Yes, you read that correctly, frogs are edible. They're actually a fave in most Asian countries.

As per the videos shared online, Kate hand-picked some frogs that were still raw then the vendor proceeded to fry the amphibian meat for her.
Kate confirmed that the meat is an acquired taste as she did not fancy it at first but it slowly grew on her.
Upon her first bite, she exclaimed loudly in her mother tongue while trying to chew the meat.
"How does it taste?" Jackie could be heard asking excitedly as she waited for her friend's review.
After a while, the vendor handed her a full plate of fried frogs to enjoy.
"Let me eat my pork chops. Look at how she eats that frog-like chicken, but I tried it, and it actually tastes good like chicken," Jackie wrote as she shared a video of her friend Kate munching on the amphibian.
With the camera turned to her, Kate joked about how she's kissed frogs in the past and had now graduated to eating them since she had found the one.
"Kelele ya chura haimzuii ngome kunwa maji. Mimi nimekula huyo chura (The croaking of frogs does not stop a cow from drinking water. I've eaten that frog.)
I've kissed many frogs, and now I'm eating them because now I've found my main frog," Kate lightly said.
