Hair and makeup artiste Jony Hairdresser has apologized to Kiss FM presenter Oga Obinna after alleging that they are dating.
This is after Obinna took legal action against the hairdresser demanding a public apology and retraction of the statement failure to which, he would sue.
"To whom it may concern. Monday is the DEADLINE. For now I Just want a public Apology and retraction of the statements and I'll forgive. In court I'll need evidence and if not available I'll sue for all the damages caused. Hamtaniharibia jina na kazi hapa nje bure.💁♂️Naona mnanizoea sana sasa," he wrote
Jony has now come out to say it was just but banter. He added that he had never met Obinna nor interacted with him.
"This is just to clear the air that I’m not dating @ogaobinna .The video was just a banter nothing serious or to cause any problems to anyone. I respect Oga and how he has handled the situation, mad respect to him . We’ve never met nor interacted with him but out of respect it’s fair to clear his name . I hope we meet sometime and also @ogaobinna you can bring your loved one for a hair and makeup session from me ."
Jony had appeared on Dennis Karuri's Youtube channel when he was asked to name and describe who his lover is.
"Tell us the name of the person you are dating" Dennis asked Jony
"He is a public figure and a celebrity. He works in a radio station. My love Oga Obinna I hope you are seeing this." he said
