Fred Omondi's body airlifted home for burial

Comedian Fred Omondi will be buried today at his family's home in Sega, Bondo, Siaya county.

His body was airlifted yesterday from Nairobi's JKIA to Kisumu international airport where he was received by his family and friends.

He was then transported by road to Siaya county where he will be laid to rest.

On Friday morning, a memorial service of the late comedian was held at the Chiromo funeral parlour Chapel.

Eric Omondi paid tribute to his brother "My brother, It has been an honour to be your brother, Keep watching over us. Till we meet again."

Last week, a comedy show was organized by MP Jalang'o, Milly Chebby and Terence Creative.

Fred died after a grisly road accident along Kangundo Road.
