Globally celebrated Kenyan actress turned author Lupita Nyongo with less than three days to Kenya's general elections took to her socials to show her unwavering love and support for her dad as he runs for an elective post.
Lupita's dad, an author and former Kisumu Governor Mr Petrer Anyang Nyongo is throwing his hat back in the political ring and vying for the gubernatorial seat once again.
Sharing her message on her Instagram page, the Oscar winning actress shared a video of her dad playing a game surrounded by other family members and captioned it, "Watch my dad set the record playing bop-it for the first time.
My father Anyang Nyongo does everything thoughtfully, even playing with his family."
She then went ahead to add how proud she was of her dad and adored him as well as emphasizing a message of peaceful elections to her fellow Kenyans.
"I am proud to have him on my team and wish him well as he vies to lead the team in Kisumu County as Governor for Five years. And wishing the people of Kenya peaceful and successful elections."
Lupita and her dad share a special father-daughter kind of love with the two constantly blowing up the internet when they hang out.
Just recently Lupita was spotted massaging her dads feet during fathers day as the two candidly talked.
In the then viral video, her dad was seen seated together with other family members near the banks of Lake Victoria soaking in the beautiful views, fresh air as his famous daughter who was seated slightly below him passionately massaging his legs.
Lupita then wished her dad a great fathers day in the caption of the video.
The video has wowed millions of her followers with many praising Lupita for being an amazing daughter.
