The new and revamped Vera Sidika is letting go of her past.
Days after unveiling a new body, Vera Sidika has wiped her Instagram page clean, except for three photos.
The socialite has deleted her photos except two showing her new body and another for a club appearance. See below
On Wednesday, October 5, Vera lit up the internet with the news that she had undergone an implant removal surgery.
The procedure was to save her life.
"This has been the hardest phase in my life, Due to health risks & complications, I had to undergo surgery. It’s Still very unbelievable But I’ve come to terms with it & learned to love myself regardless. Ladies; pls learn to love yourself & don’t ever let peer pressure rush u into things that will ruin you in the future," she wrote.
On the following day Thursday, Vera explained what she had to go through before the surgery.
A video of her initial preparation showing scars revealed the painful process she spoke about.
"Part 1: Preparations. I had to undergo a series of tests before the procedure so the doctors could assess me.🥺 the many wires in my chest & leg is called ECG Test for the heart. I didn’t focus much on this since my main concern was the actual surgery. "
Vera has promised to share a full video of the preparation process Friday, October 7.
"Which I got my anesthesiologist to film. I will b posting the full theater video here tomorrow, it’s clearer even though I was unconscious. But I’m sure This will truly help many girls out there trying to go down that path. If you’re alive & well. Thank God."
Vera remains grateful for deciding to protect her life over appearance
"Never take it for granted. I was given a second chance to start over and stay alive before it got worse. 🙏 I might not have the body y’all are used to seeing but I am alive & nothing beats that."
So perhaps wiping her Instagram clean is part of her efforts to start afresh, without photos to remind her of the danger having body enhancements.
