Gospel singer Rose Muhando bitterly recalled how she has lived with bodily injuries arising from her early years in the gospel industry.
Speaking to YahStoneTown on maishaMagicpoa DTV, Rose on October 6 told of her horror experience that left her with scars.
"its a long story but the short of it is that, nimetekwa mimi nimekatwa katwa mimi nimeumizwa."
She added,
“Nimepitia matatizo ambayo kuongea labda niongee na viongozi wa juu maana ni mateso mazito ambayo siwezi ongea kwenye mtandao. Ni kitu ambacho hata nikienda polisi napigiwa kuambiwa kuwa sitosaidiwa.”
That experience made Rose Muhando convert from Islam to Christianity.
"Nimetekwa, mimi nimekatwa katwa mimi nimeumizwa na vitu vingi vibaya, sumu vitu venye kali na kadhalika lakini mateso haya yakitokea sikuwa na mahali pa kwenda kusema."
Rose recalled getting a mysterious disease that left her bedridden, with unexplained open wounds.
"Nimeumizwa na vitu vingi vibaya tindikali vitu vyenye ncha kali na kadhalik lakini vya mateso haya yakitokea sikuwa na mahali pa kwenda kusema"
Her folks took her to witchdoctors but it didn't help until one night she was healed through a miracle.
"We were all stunned and during that moment niliona mkono wa mzungu, I told my parents it touched me on the wound. 'Mimi ni yesu nimekuponya uwe mzima amka ukanitumikie.'
The voice repeated the command three times, the hand disappeared then I felt so cold all of a sudden.
I touched myself and could not feel the wound any more. I shouted and told my parents that I am healed but my parents had witnessed the miracle "
This made her convert o Christianity, a decision that saw her banned from her family home.
She went to live in the streets where she gave birth to her three children.
Rose has two baby daddies and lambasted one for being a deadbeat.
"My three kids are doing well. They are in school; one is studying to be a lawyer, the other a doctor and the last one a boy is in form five."
The musician also opened up about the two men she sired children with
"Baba zao waliendaga wakienda,"
Does she communicate with them about co parenting?
"Ahh neno hakuna kwasababu moja alifariki huyo wa mwisho the one in form five his father took him to raise him, anamuhudumia yeye mwenyewe, hawa wawili wengine wako na mimi nawahudumia mimi mweneywe na wa somesha mimi mewenyewe na wanafanya vizuri sana kwa hivyo namshukuru mungu "
In spite of all that happening Rose says she is now in peace, "Hapo ndo naweza sema angalau sasa naishi kwa nini..kwa amani."
