Nominated senator, Karen Nyamu has lauded Samidoh's late mother Miriam Wairimu for producing a strong man.

To the surprise of many, Karen left a comment on Samidoh's recent post.

The nominated senator and the Mugithi Maestro have two children together, Sam Jr. and Wairimu, who are named after the late singer's mother.

Karen further expressed her hope that the children would inherit traits from their namesake.

"She raised a kind hearted man, and that's her legacy. Tu wairimu tukamutukia."  (The Wairimu's will take after her)

In the photo, the father of five was celebrating the impact his late mum had on his life.

Samidoh described his mother as his source of inspiration.

"Wherever u are, wherever I will Go you will remain my source of inspiration!!" Samidoh captioned the photo.

The Mumbi hitmaker went on to credit his success to her saying;

"I am Because you were!.#Maituwairimu (My mother Wairumu)#niwathiirenaihenya (You left us too soon) Nikio ndaguciarire na ngiguciara ringi." (That is why I gave birth to you twice)

Samidoh’s mother Miriam Wairimu was a farmer and died when the singer was only in form two.
