It is truly official official guys! Lupita Nyong'o has just introduced her boyfriend, TV host Selema Masekela to her parents Governor Anyang' Nyong'o and, her mother, Dorothy.
Things must be going really well.
Lupita took to her socials to share a series of photos that highlighted the magical moment that they all seemed to have had while at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in Wyoming, U.S.
The Black Panther actress also made a point to tag her family members for "our convenience" in case we failed to recognize them with the ski masks at the popular ski and snowboard resort
And from the beautiful photos plastered on her Instagram page one can clearly see that Selema has met his boo's family and they all look cordial with one another.
In one of the photos, the couple posed with Lupita's younger brother Peter Junior and his wife Wanja in front of an outdoor fireplace.
Lupita captioned the photos: "Africans in snow ❄️: Name the movie...."
The TV host also took to his socials to share a few pictures, his main interest being his beau and the fact that she'd faced her fears in the dense snow.
Sharing a picture of them before skiing down the mountain an excited Selema wrote:
"Somebody caught the feeling and is a goofy footer to boot. No, I can’t stop smiling.🏂🤙🏾❤️"
He also shared a video of his girlfriend being trained on how to skii as he excitedly cheered her own.
Ugh! This two are literally so cute.
I'll admit I didn't ship them at first because let us all admit we expected Lupita to end up with a A-list celebrity but hey now I can't see them not together.
Lupita first confirmed that she was dating Masekela, the son of legendary South African jazz composer Hugh Masekela, in December 2022 via an Instagram video.
“We just click! @selema #thisismylove #nuffsaid,” she captioned the video of them changing from pyjama robes to swimwear, formal, Mexican and dance-themed outfits.
