Kenyan rapper, lyrical genius, and Businessman King Kaka has wowed netizens after he posted a throwback picture of him and his wife Nana Owiti.
In the picture, the two look nothing like the stars we currently see on TV.
Sharing the post to his over 1.8 million Instagram followers the CEO of Kaka Empire mused over how far the two had come as he celebrated his wife for sticking with him through the walk to stability.
In the frame, the two look raggedy, and tired and are way skinnier than they are right now
Captioning the picture the father of 3 revealed that he had just come from a gig and the two were heading to the bus station to catch a matatu back home.
Sounds almost unreal seeing how big of a deal he is right now that he used to board matatus.
Lol, I've just remembered his moniker back then used to be Kaka Sungura, glad he outgrew that.
"Wueh watu hutoka mbali... (seriously people do come from far)" Started King Kaka.
He went on to add, "This was very many years back. That is me and my best friend Nana Owiti.
We had just come from a gig pale kwa shuttle and we were headed back to Nairobi."
Nana responded to the post jokingly stating that they even looked way older in the picture than they do right now and yet they were younger there.
The Swahili didn't lie when they said, "Pesa sabuni ya roho."
She finished off by thanking her man for keeping his promises as she promised forever.
Responding to her husband's post Nana wrote" Wueh! Na mbona tunakaa wazee? 😂😂😂😂 Wacha tushukuru tu Mungu aki. Thank you for working towards living the dream you sold to me. Hadi tukunje mgongo!!! 🔥❤️"
The post currently has over 20.1K likes and over 400 comments excited Kenyans who flocked to the comment section to gush over the couple's growth as well as praise Nana Owiti for being true to her man.
