Captioning the post she wrote;

"It's with a heavy heart that I upload this message today. Both Barrett and I send our condolences and our hearts go out to Durand Guillaume's loved ones, his family, friends and colleagues ❤️

I met Durand Guillaume through @africanelitepr , together they changed and elevated the opportunities extended to content creators like myself looking for partnerships with iconic hotels," started off the new mom.

Anita went on to heap praises on Durand highlighting how much joy it brought her seeing how good the late sales and marketing director was to her friend Chris.

"He was always very kind, very helpful and had great advice to offer and ideas to share.

Work aside, we absolutely loved how he made our friend Chris so sooooo beautifully happy and he spoke so fondly about her and his kids every chance he got and it was wonderful to witness.

The ways of life are seldom understood. An amazing soul is gone too soon. His impact will last forever and we will always be grateful that even for a small speck of time in this lifetime, we got to meet him and bask in the light he exuded.

May his soul rest in eternal peace❤️ Njoki we are here for you for anything and everything you may need. We love you all so much❤️," the last of her post read.

His fiance, Chris broke the news of his passing online only noting that he'd suddenly passed away. She has since then deactivated her Instagram account.

Durand's memorial was held over the weekend.
