Akothee has appealed to netizens to help her report a Facebook account impersonating her husband Denis 'Omosh' Schweizer and being used for malicious purposes.

The 43-year-old musician on Tuesday published a screenshot of the account with more than eleven thousand followers and made it clear that it is not the real Mr. Denis Schweizer.

She claimed that the account was being used to defraud people by asking them to send money, an act that greatly angered her and she strongly condemned it.

"This fake account is now messaging people and asking them to send money, please help me report this account. Omondi Denis was never on Facebook and is not on Facebook," Akothee said.

She added, "Hii ni mbaya sana. Kuwa na utu. Ripoti akaunti hii Dennis Schweizer Omosh. Huyu jamaa hana habari yoyote. Si poa. Furahia kadri uwezavyo, lakini usiwe na ukatili huu. Nisaidieni kuripoti akaunti hii. Asanteni."

According to the screenshot shared by the musician, the account not only used her husband's name but also their photos taken on their wedding day.

This comes just hours after Mr Schweizer's Instagram account was deactivated on Monday.

Just a few hours before that the musician had made a disturbing statement revealing that things have not been quite right in her life in the past few months after finding out some truth.

Mister Omosh's Instagram account was deactivated on Monday fueling speculation that there may be some issues yet to be revealed.

The account had about 72,000 followers before it disappeared. However, it is not clear whether the account has been temporarily or permanently disabled.
