Veteran Kenyan artist David Mathenge popularly known by his stage name, Nameless has disclosed why it appears as if he has never written a love ballad/ dedicated a song to his wife, fellow iconic musician Wahu.
This came up when Wahu lamented that she felt bad that her man had never dedicated a song to her despite the two being married for 17 years. Crazy right?
Wahu and her hubby graced Bien's album launch dubbed, 'Alusa Why Are You Topless,' during the event while doing media interviews the mother of 3 was asked what her favourite song off the album was and she took the opportunity to publicly put her man on the hot seat.
“My favourite on Bien’s album is the song he wrote for his wife..." started off the 'Sweet Love' crooner.
She went on to cheekily add; "I was asking myself, why is it that my husband has not written a song dedicated to me, what’s up with that?”

Nameless who happened to be by her side was appalled by his wife's statement.
Defending himself, Nameless rubbished her claims revealing he has written so many songs dedicated to Wahu, the only downside or main reason why people do not know this is the sheer fact that he has never explicitly mentioned her in the tunes like Bien did with Chiki.
“Do you know how many songs I have written for my beautiful wife? it’s just that I haven’t said Wahu," Nameless said in his defense.
The artist who also doubles as an architect went on to add that most of his music is inspired by his wife.
"Listen, the songs I have done inspired by this girl (Wahu) are very many and I thank her for inspiring me. But she knows I can’t put her name there (on the records), for various artistic reasons," the father of 3 adorably said.

Switching tactics he went for his wife demanding to know why he hadn't gotten a dedication as well.
These two are just absolutely cute! Nameless went on to note that the only songs that his wife has ever dedicated to him, were all diss tracks.
He went on to name two of her old hit songs. The two were released over 10 years ago when the couple were still dating;
"If anything why hasn’t she recorded one dedicated to me as well,” Nameless said amidst laughter.
Nameless better name-drop the mother of his kids in his next song though!
