Nigerian artist Patoranking who is the most versatile artist in Africa has taken a step to personally offer Gen Z an opportunity to study data science and analytics for free as a way of empowering them.

In partnership with ALX, a leading provider of technology training, the acclaimed reggae and dancehall star is providing scholarships for young Africans to learn vital technology skills.

The famous Nigerian artist rose to fame with hits that have resonated from Nigeria to the Caribbean. His collaborations with top artistes such as Tiwa Savage, Buju Banton, and Lauryn Hill, along with over 350 million subscribers on YouTube, have cemented his status as an international icon.

Despite his global success, Patoranking remains deeply connected to his roots.

Growing up in a single room with his parents and five siblings, he experienced first-hand the challenges of financial hardships.

These experiences pushed him to work extra hard and create a better future not only for himself but also for young Africans around the continent.

For the past six years, the Patoranking Foundation has been dedicated to empowering young Africans through education.

The foundation’s latest initiative is a partnership with ALX to provide scholarships to 40 innovative and mission-driven young students.

These scholarships will provide access to transformative technology courses and career-ready training, equipping recipients with critical data analytics skills.

“Every day I wish and pray that I can help the world, save the world, become Superman, and save the world. That is my prayer,” Patoranking said.
